Paul Bonazzi Obituary

BONAZZI
Paul, of Ridgewood, NJ died suddenly on August 2, 2016.
He is the beloved father of Paul Bonazzi of Waldwick and and Melissa Bonazzi Avery of Larchmont, NY, and son of Anne Bonazzi of Cranbury and Raymond Bonazzi (deceased). Paul had a love of all things automotive and is widely known for his unparalleled expertise in the field. Nothing, however, exceeded his deep love of family and friends who he supported generously with his time and energy.
Paul grew up in Hicksville, Long Island and is a graduate of University of Akron. He loved working with cars and spending time with his children and grandchildren. After a long career with Mercedez Benz, Paul became a consultant in the automobile industry, and continued the work he loved at Paul's Auto in Nutley.
Paul is also survived by his long time companion, Quyen Chung of Richmond, VA, and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Kathy Bonazzi of Princeton Junction; his son-in-law, Chris Avery, and daughter-in-law Rachel Bonazzi and grandchildren, Jackson and Lila Avery and Jake and Brett Bonazzi; his Aunt Jean Stanchi of Monroe and many cousins.
The family will receive visitors from Thursday, August 4, 3-6:30 PM and a memorial service will follow from 6:30-7 PM at C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 E. Ridgewood Ave, Ridgewood.

To Paul and Missy, your Dad was a friend as well as the genius who kept our cars running. We traded audio books and stories of family and friends. We will miss him and will not forget him.

He treasured both of you and he will always watch over you.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul''s passing. He was a special man, always fun and willing to help others. We worked together at MB in sales training and the On Track program. He taught me so much about cars and was always fun to be with. Can't believe he is gone so soon! My thoughts are with you! Sorry I was not here to pay my respects. Kathy Checke
