Ruth Bratton Obituary

Bratton, Ruth Helene,

92, of LaGrange, KY passed away on September 16, 2014.

She was born in Wabash County, IL on June 5, 1922 to Otho and Nancy Ann Craig. She was the loving wife of 69 years to her devoted husband, Paul A. Bratton, who precedes her in death.

Helene, to most of her friends, was a homemaker and a member of the Oldham Woods Church of Christ.

She is survived by sons, Harold (Mary) of Campbellsburg, and Perry (Pamela) of Crestwood; five grandchildren, Jennifer of LaGrange, Craig (Shannon) of Campbellsburg, Jason of New York City, Meredith McIntosh (Michael) of Smithfield, and Joshua of Louisville; as well as six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Maggie, Emily, Jenna, Lindsey, and Ava.

Thank you to the many members of her church family and friends who assisted in her care, with special thanks to Geneva, Steve, Margie and Carolyn.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday prior to service. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Oldham County Funeral Home, 706 W. Jefferson St., with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
