Paul Occhiuzzo Obituary

OCCHIUZZO Paul, 80, of East Rutherford, for eight years and formerly of Carlstadt passed away September 10, 2008. Mr. Occhiuzzo was born in Carlstadt. For over ten years, he was Chief of Police for the Borough of Carlstadt and retired in 1993 after thirty-seven years of service on the police force. He was a member of the Bergen County Chief's Assoc., the N.J. State Police Chief Assoc. and the Carlstadt Christian Assembly. Beloved husband of Rosemarie (nee Ferrigno) Occhiuzzo. Loving father of Paul J. Occhiuzzo, Maryann Coppola and her husband Alan and Barbara Bianchini and her husband Michael. Cherished grandfather of Michele Romano and her husband Joe, William Ondrof, Jessica Ondrof, Alan D. Coppola and great-grandfather of Emma and Ava Romano. Dear brother of Erma Ginocchetti, Mary Merritt and predeceased by six brothers and two sisters. Funeral service at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 10:30 AM. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visitation, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Clara Maass Foundation, One Clara Maass Dr, Belleville, NJ 07109.
