Paula Jacobs Obituary

JACOBS
Paula (nee Pinchefsky), age 67, of Wayne, formerly of Paterson and Fair Lawn, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 14, 2013, beloved wife of Arthur J. Jacobs, devoted mother of Sheila A. Trinidad and her husband Antonio of Fair Lawn, NJ, Jonathan D. Harris and his wife Tricia of San Mateo, CA, Michelle L. Nargiso and her husband Michael of Parkland, FL and Dara B. Jacobs of Wayne, NJ, cherished daughter of Ida Lan of Wayne, NJ and the late Harry Pinchefsky, dear sister of Dr. Barry Pinchefsky of New York City, proud grandmother of Jesse, Timothy, Steven, Michael, Sophia Scarlet and Alayna. Paula was a graduate of Fair Lawn High School, she earned her Bachelors degree in Education at C.W. Post College in Long Island, NY and her Master's degree in Education at Montclair State University. Prior to her retirement in 2007, Paula taught history and government at Eastside High School in Paterson. Paula was a member of the New Jersey Education Association and Temple Beth Tikvah in Wayne, and the Temple's Women Chai Sisterhood. Services will be 12:30 PM Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Louis Suburban Chapel 13-01 Broadway (Route 4 West) Fair Lawn, NJ, burial will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Westwood, NJ. Memorial donations in memory of Paula Jacobs may be made to Cancer Research.
