Rosemary Macagney Obituary

MACAGNEY
Rosemary (nee Lee), 84, of Pompton Lakes, passed away on January 25, 2015 at Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff, NJ.
Born in New York, NY, Rosemary was the daughter of the late Edgar and Claire Lee. She married John W. Macagney in 1954 and the couple settled in Pompton Lakes. Together, Rosemary and John raised four children and shared 56 years of marriage before his passing in 2010. Rosemary was an active parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes and was a loving wife, mom and a fun grandmother.
Rosemary is survived by her sons, Michael and his partner Jeannine and Daniel and his wife Kristin; her daughters, Patricia Bradley and Susan Brilhart and her husband Paul; and thirteen grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John and her brother James Leonard Lee.
A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, January 31 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. Interment will follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.

Dear Pat, Michael, Susan and Danny,
Your Mom and Dad always confirmed that there was an abundance of goodness and love in the world. Rosemary always had the right solutions. It is she that would have sewn on Peter Pan's shadow instead of using soap. All of you will always be in my heart with great memories of "Never Neverland"
