Sarah Suter Obituary

SUTER
Sarah, 93, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013. She was born on April 11, 1919, to Charles and Delia Larson. The Larson family had settled in Cliffside Park in 1886 and for many years owned a candy store on Palisade Ave. She was one of nine children. She graduated from Cliffside Park High School and married Albert Suter Jr. in 1941. They had one child, a daughter, Barbara. Sarah was a homemaker and was a social and generous person who loved to organize family parties. She was also a caregiver for many friends and family members during times of illness. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Suter PhD, and a granddaughter, Kate Suter Fiscalini, both of whom reside in New York City, her sister Laura DeAlessi, sister-in-law Gene Korinko, and nieces and nephews, Charles and Richard Silverman, Pat Larson, Anne Larson, Mickey Dauber, Delia McLaughlin, Joyce Logan, Debra Lunberg, Joe DeAlessi, Laurie Giles, Gloria Catoggio, and Richard Korinko, and many grand nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Church of the Epiphany, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Wednesday, March 20, at 10 AM. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Visiting hours on Monday, from 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Barbara, I remember your Mom driving you to Epiphany or picking you up in that cool car with the spare tire on the back. You were quiet, cool and smart. I hope you've had a happy life. I have.

Dearest Aunt Sarah,
