Sophie Pasek Obituary
Sophie L., 97, of Wallington, on Friday, February 22, 2013. Prior to her retirement in 1985, she was a clerk for the Becton Dickinson Company in East Rutherford for 42 years, she was also a member of the Becton Dickinson 25 Year Club. She was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church in Wallington. She was a member of the Sons of Poland in Carlstadt. Sophie was a fiercely independent woman who loved her gardening, loved being entertained by astrology, and was totally devoted to her nuclear family. Sophie was the devoted daughter of Antoni and Anna (nee Stachula) Pasek, dear sister of the late Walter, Louie, Emil, and Teddy Pasek, and sister-in-law of Genevieve Pasek of Wallington. Sophie is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Monday, 9:30 AM from the Kamienski Funeral Home, 106 Locust Avenue, Wallington, and 10 AM at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Wallington. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
