Wang Chu-Sheng Obituary

CHU-SHENG
Wang, a Harrington Park resident of 32 years passed away on October 21, 2015. He was born in China at the end of the Second Sino-Japanese War. Following service with the joint U.S and Taiwanese defense teams in the Taiwan Straits, he moved to the U.S. to pursue graduate studies in electrical engineering and graduated from New York University. He began his career at RCA Records where his work included creating and maintaining financial forecasting, international and domestic royalty accounting (incl. for artists, producers, unions and copyrights) IT systems. He continued this work with the Bertelsmann Group. Upon his retirement, he pursued his interest in game and software development and was involved with Oracle databases, Palm OS, Win CE, and bluetooth applications, and was a member of the Palm Solutions Providers Community. He was the husband of Cecilia; father of Walter and Christina and her husband Dany; and grandfather to Anderson and Ellie. He leaves behind a loving and supportive family including his sister Mary and her husband Jimmy, his sister Margaret and her husband Joseph; his sister Tai Ping and her husband Gong Bai; his brother Philip and his wife Da Jin; his brother Richard and his wife Lilly; his sister in law April and her husband Bill; his sister in law Clare and her husband Charles; his brother in law David and his wife Johanna; his brother in law William and his wife Margaret, his brother in law Robert. Also surviving him are his many loving nieces and nephews: Jean, Doug, Thomas, Jean, Warren, San, Harriet, Joe, Wally, Ed, Sandy, Billy, Dawn, Stephen, Lisa, Phoebe, Steven, Cindy, Yale, Liz, Tracy, Lawrence, Patricia, William, Chiann, Andy, Chiwen and Jon as well as more than fifteen grandnieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on October 23rd at Our Lady of Victories Church in Harrington Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Office of Development, Attn: Lauren Kelly, 633 Third Ave, 20th Floor, New York, NY 10017.
