Mr McKeever was my basketball coach at Union Hill in 1969-70..We went to the state finals in Atlantic City Convention Hall and won many exciting games that year.He would tell us in order to win we had to be mobile, agile and hostile.I would see him often at St Peter's College..He believed in me and changed my life..Thank You Coach..i think of you often...Eddie Schroback

To the McKeever family,

I'm very sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.
I met Bill, I called him Mr. McKeever, when I was doing my student teaching at Union Hill High School about fifty years ago. He was the nicest and most helpful person you could ever meet. He helped me,especially, since I was doing my student teaching in the history department. He was always upbeat, helpful, and kind. God rest his soul.

Dearest Mr. McKeever, Thank you for your friendship...As I would chase you down the corridors of UHH, "Billy! Billy"...I would call out to you....and grab unto your arm, you would look at me with a serious(red with embarrasment) face and say,"you know I'm going to have to write you up for this unruly behavior!" Then we would burst out laughing!
You made high school so much fun for me....See you in Heaven Wonderful Friend!

To the Family of Bill McKeever,
I have fond memories of MR. McKEEVER as my history teacher, senior year in Holy Family, HS Union City, 1961. I believe he only taught there for 2 years, 1960-1961.
A great history teacher, a great story teller which made history come alive.

Billy was great friend all through High School. He the jock, me the cheerleader. After graduation several of us stayed at the shore where I taught Billy how to drive . It was a memorable experience, one we laughed about some fifty years later. I also visited him at Kings Point. We kept in touch until a few years ago. I moved to Florida and lost touch.
This is a loss to all of us who knew and loved him, especially the Blue Jays. He was one great guy.
Sending love and sympathy,

Condolences to the family of Mr. McKeever. He was one of those teachers who you never forget. He taught me and countless other students at NBHS to drive, and he had nerves of steel and the patience of a saint. RIP Mr. McKeever.
