Phyllis Ann Miller, 73, of Ridgeville Corners, Ohio, passed away at her home on Sept. 6, 2025.
She was born in Defiance, Ohio on July 5, 1952, to the late Henry and Hilda Arps. On Oct. 16, 1971, Phyllis married Kenneth Miller at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Larry Corell.
Phyllis was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners. She enjoyed going to the lake and playing cards with the neighbors.
Phyllis had a special way with animals and was always willing to be the family dog sitter. Her grandfather, George Arps founded Arps Dairy in 1936, and she would help her father work on the farm and tend to the livestock and dairy cattle.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ken; sons, Brian (Christi) Miller, Jeff (Melissa) Miller, and Tim (Misty Beadnell) Miller; grandchildren, Brodie Miller, Kylee Miller, Josh Croy, and Chase Miller; and siblings, Janice (Tavi) Prundeanu, and Karen (Ed) Gerken.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Tom Arps, and sister, Joann Robinson.
Friends and family will be received at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be private for the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
