Dana was an incredible person and friend. I will never forget the time we spent together. She loved golf and I was happy to share the game with her. It has taken me this long to finally overcome my grieving. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and your family.

My deepest sympathy for all Dana's family and Dave. I worked with both and have some good memories of both. Dana always talked about how much she loved her dad. She lit up when she spoke of him. I will miss seeing her at the Manchester Road Races.

My prayers, thoughts and strength go to Dave and the kids, as well as the rest of Dana's family - we were neighbors for a few years in Hebron, and Dana spoke at my son's driver's ed class about distracted driving. She was an incredible person whose strength and courage touched everyone. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dana and I worked together for years with a great group of people at Williams Communications in Wethersfield. Since we sat next to each other, I would hear LOTS of things. What stood out to me the most was how close she was her father. She would so look forward to their "dates" to J.Gilberts, her favorite restaurant. Everytime I go by it I will think of her and smile.

Dear Ed and Rachel, my family and I send our deepest condolences in the loss of Dana. It was always fun to run into Dana at the park in Hebron when the kids were younger. Always so much laughter as we watched the kids play.

A remembrance of Dana - I remember driving up the road maybe 5 years ago (Dana lived near me in Hebron) and coming around the corner and there was Dana with her car stopped in the middle of the road, she was chaperoning two baby turtles across the road to safety. This moment stands out to me and speaks to Dana's true kindness of heart... she will be missed by the many people who were witness to her true spirit.

My heart is very heavy right now. My prayers to all of you. God gave me the chance to see Dana again two years ago at the Haddam Neck Fair after not seeing her for more then 25 years. I just wish I had taken the time to actually spend some time with her again and really catch up with her. I loved Dana like a sister and really loved being with you our junior year. As my sister reminded me she will forever be remembered as Mrs Steve Perry(Journey). my love to you dad and Rachel.

You were an amazing woman and you will be missed. You taught me to always live in the moment and to never give up on something that you truly love and believe in. Those two summers that I was able to spend with you and Ryan and Jordyn are memories that I will never forget, and coming back to Glastonbury this summer just will not be the same knowing that you are gone. Please know how much you were loved.

I just received the news today of the passing of Dana. My heart goes out to Jordyn and Ryan along with the rest of the family! I know as I watch Jordyn and Ryan grow through the years I will see Dana in them. She was a wonderful mother and did a wonderful job raising two beautiful children! She has become a friend through the years of picking up our children after school and I will truly miss seeing her. Rest in peace my friend...you will be sadly missed by never forgotten!

There are no words I can offer except WOW. Dana was the most exceptional, courageous, respected woman I think I ever have come in contact with. She fought this disease with a positive attitude. Dignity, grace, didn't complain and held her head up. My deepest thoughts are with her children and family. To have been able to call Dana mommy, sister, friend a daughter or a aunt was a gift. Dana, you always had a big bright smile for my daughter stephanie, you always embraced her 101 questions. Dana, you told me I had a beautiful daughter, and you enjoyed talking with her. Stephanie, would always look for you at Adison pool she would be so happy to see you and your twins.We had three,wonderful summers at the pool,conversing and laughing.We will miss you dearly, stephanie thought alot of you. Dana has left many of us with heavy hearts - but that is only because she was incredibly strong and inspirational to so many - those who knew her personally and others who were touched by her courage and positive attitude on Facebook.
