NORWICH - Dawn H. Tracey, 45, died on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, following a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Norwich on August 3, 1973 to Edward and Bonnie (Szarka) Brozyna.
Dawn grew up in Franklin, she attended Franklin Elementary and graduated from NFA. She worked for the State of Connecticut Dept. of Social Services for the last 15 years. Dawn was a loving mother who enjoyed going to the beach, scrap booking and crocheting who had most recently made several blankets for her new grandson.
Dawn is survived by her father Edward Brozyna of Plainfield; mother Bonnie Thomas of New York and her son Brenton Brozyna and his girlfriend Killian Laffey of Bozrah and her grandson Cayden Brozyna of Bozrah;
Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Dawn's life on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at the Norwich Fish & Game, 44 Browning Road, Norwich at 1pm. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Belmont Funeral Home LLC has been entrusted with Dawn's care. Please visit www.bemontfh.com to leave condolences for the family.

I miss Dawn´s smile! She was just good people. A ray of sunshine on often difficult days @ SMHA. I still can´t watch Criminal Minds as we used to discuss everyday. When I knit I think of her and all her amazing creations, especially her socks.... LOL. Miss her so

I was shocked to see Dawn passed away. I worked with her for a few years when she was a paralegal and her son was little. She was always such an amazing, strong woman. Loved her dearly. I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for comfort and peace for the family.

Dawn was truly amazing. I was her co-worker for 12 years but I am proud to say she was my friend. She was the first person I met @ SMHA and she was so kind to me. We connected about scrap booking, knitting and love of dogs. My favorite memory is Dawn & I Yarn shopping with all the dogs. Quite the adventure....
