It was a pleasure to talk with him when i dropped off Josh and Joey Blain for school. He always had a smile and wave to me passing by on my other run. I will miss his talks and input on the town.

Eddie was always the "favorite" uncle to a lot of the Blackmar children growing up. Since, he and his wife, Marie, didn't have children until later in life, we were always honored to be week-end guests or summer vacationers at their home. Truly, a more humble and gentler man, could not be found anywhere. Sorry for your loss.

I know you do not know me but your Dad was my boss at Hale Mfg. for 3 years. He was an honorable man and a very good boss. I'm sure you will miss him but remember he will always be with you. May God Bless You and be with you during your time of loss.

Uncle Eddie,
I loved going to your house to ride bikes down the driveway. You were an incredibly talented person. Your generosity will not be forgotten.
