Steven Passarello Obituary
NORTH FRANKLIN - Steven Passarello of 133 Pleasure Hill Road; North Franklin, CT passed away October 4, 2018. Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Paula, two children Steven Paul Passarello and his wife Michelle, Deirdre Jennifer Osypuk and her husband Paul, grandchildren Steven Angelo, Ashley Nicole, Cameron Michael, Dominic John, Nicholas Osypuk, and his brother, Guy Passarello and his wife Pauline. Steve is predeceased by his grandson, Anthony John.
Steve's first love was his family. He also loved his friends, the Yankees, senior softball, pistol shooting, and Arbor Acres. He led a life full of passion and compassion for what he loved. We will miss him every day of our lives.
No flowers, please just happy memories of the man we love, named Steve.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Guillot Funeral Home 75 So. B St. Taftville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 am at St. Mary's Church 70 West Main St. in Baltic. Burial will be private.

Now a year has passed since we lost Steve. We continue to think of Steve often and all of the times we spent together in Argentina and in the States. Dear Paula and family,
Denise and I were shocked today to hear of Steve's passing. As you know, Paula, we didn't know until today. I know you had tried to call but it didn't go through...we were in VT at that time and very possibly in a no-service area. Paula, I have so many great memories of you and Steve...we were family together in Argentina...I have just let Sally and Karen know...Sally reminded me that you were her teacher in Argentina...you came to my high school games with Mom and Dad...you were probably at my high school graduation...we spent our holidays together...and then, back in the States, we always got together at Mom and Dad's...you were at our wedding in VT...and you were at Mom and Dad's funerals...I have always thought of you and Steve as family. Steve called me when I retired last year and we spoke before going to Italy this year...It just doesn't seem possible and Denise and I can only imagine how hard this is on you and your family. My deepest sympathy to the family. I am so sorry to here of Steve's passing. Steve has been a client of mine for almost 27 years. Seeing him every four weeks, we would share stories of family, Italian traditions, recipes, sports, comparing our running mileage, I can go on and on. I would always make sure I would have his special biscotti when he would come in:) He's been a great client, friend, and truly such an amazing person. I am so lucky to have known him for all these years. This is such a tremendous loss, and he will never be forgotten.

I've known Steve since he joined the Vernon Seniors Softball League. We've become friends even though we played on different teams. I encouraged Steve to become a better hitter during this time. I will miss talking to him and watching him play. He was a very nice guy and I enjoyed our conversations and will miss him very much.
