Christian E. Schumacher , 51, of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, formerly of Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2023. He was born April 25, 1971, in Scottsbluff, son of Wayne and DeAnne Schumacher. Christian graduated from the University of Nebraska and was a former conductor for Union Pacific Railroad in Nebraska. He was a member of the Eagles Club and the APA in North Platte. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Schumacher. Christian is survived by his wife, Angela Schumacher; sons, Michael and Justin Schumacher; mother, DeAnne Schumacher; sisters, Ingrid (Craig) Christman, Trina Madden, and Stephanie (Brian Melville) Reiman; brother, Mikel (Melinda) Schumacher; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Epilepsy Foundation at epilepsy.com. Condolences may be sent via the online guest book at hooverfuneralhome.com. A memorial service was Monday, March 6, at the Hoover Funeral Home of Hershey, Pennsylvania.
