I never expected to be writing this message for Mike. I was sure he would be doing it for me. But I was wrong. I don't have to think much abut what I want to say. Our community lost a great leader and attorney. I lost the best male friend I ever hope to have. He will be missed by many but no more than me.

Sorry to hear about Mike. He and I played together at NPHS. His son, Jake, was the best linebacker I ever coached. I know his diabetes was worse than mine.
