Alexandra DeMello Obituary
Alexandra Elizabeth DeMello passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2022, in her family cottage in Timberville, VA. She was just shy of 38 years old.
Alexandra (Alex /Al) was born in Redwood City, CA, on September 24, 1984. She went to Sequoia High School and then Cañada College in Redwood City.
Alexandra was a special person who was a light in many lives. She was joyful and always ready to dance. She loved life and left us too early.
You may have been lucky to know Alexandra. It could have been from her warm welcomes when visiting Third Hill Winery at DeMello Vineyard or at Life Care helping your loved ones.
Despite some adversities, Alexandra worked hard every day. She volunteered at Life Care in New Market; she was rewarded the Carl W. Campbell, Wind Beneath My Wings award for her commitment to the residents, families, and staff with exceptional kindness and compassion in 2018.
She was our beloved "Al" - a daughter, a little sister, an aunt, a granddaughter and so much more.

There will be an open house to celebrate Alex's birthday on September 24th from 2-6 PM at Third Hill Winery and a Celebration of Life to follow in the Spring.

Ed and Wendy,
Shelby and I are greatly moved by your loss. Losing a daughter in the prime of her life has to be devastating.
We are not sure we can make it for your Memorial Service due to harvest and a lack of help.
We will not send flowers since you will be covered with them but will give to the Epilepsy organization.
We are thinking about you now. Got luck and with time the sadness will recede.
