Benjamin Faust Obituary
Benjamin Roosevelt Faust, age 88, formerly of Strasburg, VA passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Heritage Hall in King George, VA.
A graveside service for Mr. Faust will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2021at Riverview Cemetery with Rev. John Haynes, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Friday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. and will go in procession to the cemetery for the service.
Mr. Faust was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania on March 5, 1933. He was one of 16 children of the late Blair Walter and Anna Marie Hine Faust. Mr. Faust was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of Strasburg United Methodist Church. He worked as a mechanic and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He loved to garden and was passionate about his faith and Christian values.
In addition to his parents and several siblings, he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Kay Sommer Faust and two children Deborah Faust and Angela Faust.
Survivors include his children John Campbell, Ben Faust, and Mike Faust; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild along with several siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.
