Bobby Malone Obituary

Bobby Lee Malone, Sr., 64, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Winchester Medical Center.

Bobby was born in 1950, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of the late Wilbur and Margaret Malone.

He was a semi-retired (2012) self-employed truck driver for Malone Trucking, Inc.

He married Joan Bowley on April 26, 1974, in Winchester.

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Tina Vainds and husband, David, of Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia, and Beth Falu and husband, Daniel, of Winchester; daughter-in-law, Jackie Malone of Martinsburg, West Virginia; son, Bobby Lee Malone, Jr. and wife, Brittany, of Winchester; grandchildren, Lottie, Jay, Danielle, Jesse, Haven, Cole, and Derek; and four great grandchildren with one soon to be born.

His son, James "Jay" Malone, and sister, Betty Benson, preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends on Monday, one hour prior to the service, from 6 to 7 p.m., at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 9, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
