Emily Easley Obituary


Emily M. Easley passed away on August 7, 2025, after a long courageous eight-year battle with cancer, which she fought until the last moment.

She was born September 9, 1970 in Winchester, Virginia to Ken and Carolyn Grove.

Emily attended school in Camden, Arkansas and Warren County.

She returned home, married and had a son, Wade who was born in 1987.

Emily worked for years for the old F&M Bank in Front Royal and later for Gilliam Lumber Company.

Surviving with her parents are two brothers, Bill (Terrie) and Ernie (Terra); special partner in life, Dave Kemp; a large core of family and friends, who were always by her side to offer help and encouragement; one friend, David Marlow who has known and stayed in touch with Emily and her family for many years.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Grove.

Arrangements are incomplete. A Celebration of Life service is planned for a later date.
