Franklin Miller Obituary

Franklin Lee Miller, 89, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 03, 2025, in Strasburg VA.

Mr. Miller was born in Ferguson, North Carolina on January 24, 1936, the son of the late Sheridan and Lizzie Funkhouser Miller. He married the love of his life, Patricia Anne Orndorff Miller in 1957. Together they raised a family and built a wonderful life together. Mr. Miller was very proud of his time in the U.S. Air Force. He was a simple man who enjoyed learning and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sons Chris Miller, and Carl Miller; his grandchildren Lizzie Lockhart, and Levi Miller; his great grandchildren Charlie Bodge, Fox Lockhart, Rowen Lockhart; his siblings I. Clinton Miller (Linda), Diane Warren (Bill). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Miller, son Curtis Dale Miller, siblings Donald Miller, Archie Miller, Kevin Miller, and Wanda Miller Walsh.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday October 8, 2025, at Walnut Springs Christian Church, Strasburg VA at 11:00am. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
