John Foltz Obituary
John Frederick Foltz, 87, of Swover Creek Rd., Edinburg, died Wednesday, December 23 at Greenfield of Woodstock.
The funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, Woodstock by Pastor Art Dunham and Pastor Edward Dorrin. Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Foltz was born December 2, 1922, in Edinburg, son of the late Charles Cooper and Nora Scothern Foltz. He was a farmer and member of the Grace Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Helen Foltz; three sons, Terry L. Foltz and Charles Wayne Foltz, both of Edinburg, and Barry A. Foltz of Mt. Jackson; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Foltz, Blake Foltz, John Dorrin, Eddie Rinker, Andy Daniel, Jamie Tharp.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Foltz, Paul Wakeman, Alger Lineweaver, Dick Cooley, Glenn Shaffer, John Cutlip.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Baptist Church Missions Fund, 1255 Hoover Rd., Woodstock, Va., 22664.
Arrangements are being handled by Valley Funeral Service, Bowmans Crossing.
