Mrs. Nancy was a great mentor to me. She was a lady I always looked up to. Whether in person or facebook messager she always had time for me. I always enjoyed talking and catching up with her. She would always ask how I was doing and catch me up on her family. I loved hearing her talk about her children and grand children and great grandchildren. She was the best Girl Scout Leader ever. I learned and dedicated years to girls as a leader and used many skills she taught me. Not a day goes by I don't think of her. Prayers and love to her family. My memory <3

My heartfelt condolences to the family at this difficult time. Mrs. PAINTER was my Girl Scout leader for me from
Brownies until I went as far as I could. She was a big part of my childhood and everyone who knew her loved her. She always made sure we had a good time no matter if we were camping or doing school activities. She rose to every occassion and went above and beyond with her kindness , support and love to all of us sometimes unruly bunch of kids. She made a big impact in my life. She opened her home up to us all and she made everyone feel like family. I think back very fondly on those years and her awesome smile and the special way she always made me feel loved and heard. She was a blessing to us all. REST IN PEACE. MRS. PAINTER. YOU ARE A GEM OF A LADY.
Love and condolences to Michael and Glenda and family

I think I first met Miss Nancy through Girl Scouts in Toms Brook. She was a bundle of energy, fearless and funny, and made everyone around her feel included and cared for. My condolences to her family and many friends. She touched so many during her life and left many smiles and happy hearts in her wake.

What a wonderful neighbor Nancy was, both in Toms Brook and Woodstock. I will miss her knowledge of Shenandoah County and her sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers go out to Glenda and all the members of the Painter family. May God Bless you all.
