Robert Moore Obituary
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. C. Wayne Woodard officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. in the Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Moore was born on November 11, 1930 in Del Rio, Tennessee. son of the late Haze and Hester Moore.
He was a member of the Bentonville Baptist Church.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death along with his parents, by two sisters, Judith Roberts and Faye Saville.
Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Kitty Blanche Moore; two sons, Michael Moore and wife, Gina, of Front Royal and Robert H. Moore, Jr. and wife, Doreen, of Warrenton; three sisters, Ruth Stokley of Manassas, Joretta Waybright of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Barbie Reese of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; two brothers, Nease Moore of Romney, West Virginia and Don Moore of Charlotte, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Jason Moore, Jessica Carroll, Melissa Carter, and Kristen Mathis; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Will Moore, Jason Moore, Clint Carroll, Nate Mathis, David Carter, and Darren Saville.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bentonville Baptist Church, 2438 Stonewall Jackson Highway, Bentonville, Virginia 22610.
