We are saddened to share that our sweet Wanda Dannette Hite Pullen, who everyone knew as Danny, passed away on October 13th, 2024. She passed on to meet the Lord surrounded by her loved ones.

All will be held at Riverton Church at 55 E. Strasburg Rd, Front Royal, VA.
Dannette was born on August 12th, 1948 in Front Royal, VA to her parents Evelyn Stinson and Daniel Hite. She grew up in Front Royal and attended John S. Mosby High School. She spent her career of over 20 years working at Martin's grocery to help provide for her family.
Dannette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her husband, Cecil Pullen, oldest daughter Tracey Pullen Funk and husband Lynn Allen Funk Jr., youngest daughter Shannon Pullen Graves and Darrell Graves live on to keep her memory alive. Her grandchildren Allison Funk Smith, Madison Graves, and Brandon Graves, brother Bruce Hite and wife Debbie Hite, sister April Ross and husband Bobby Ross, and numerous nieces and nephews live on to honor her legacy. She joins her mother Evelyn Stinson and step-father Charlie Stinson, father Daniel Hite, and younger brother Gregg Hite in Heaven.
Dannette was a loving and committed wife and spent 57 years married to the love of her life, Cecil. Dannette deeply loved her two "girls," Tracey and Shannon and was a loyal, protective, and loving mother to them. She had 3 "grandbabies," Allison, Madison, and Brandon who lovingly called her their "Mammy." They remember their Mammy to be a caring, silly, and fun grandmother. Dannette was a nurturing, loving, supportive, fun sister to her siblings April, Bruce, and Gregg. She was a strong, thoughtful, and dedicated daughter to her mother, stepfather, and father. She was a caring, fun-loving mother-in-law to her son-in-laws Allen and Darrell. She loved to laugh and have fun with her lifelong girlfriends and was a loving, trusting, and devoted friend.
Dannette had a passion for gardening, crafting, reading, relaxing at the beach, going to church, a good cup of strong tea, and calling to chat on the phone to her loved ones. She would join her loved ones to cry during the hard days and join them in laughing until you cried on the good days.
She was a devoted Christian who lived her life with passion and purpose. She regularly attended and served at Riverton Church and had a strong relationship with the Lord that guided her compass in life. She lived with a spirit of resilience, determination, perseverance, and the joy of the Lord. She made a tremendous impact on many lives. She leaves a rich legacy of love and will be in our hearts forever.
