Evan Mock Obituary
E.Y. was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Mock; one son, Timothy Mock; and one step-son, Danny Bogan. He is survived by one son, David Y. Mock; one daughter, Deborah Martin; one step-son, Phillip Bogan; one sister, Elaine Patterson; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, Nov. 3, at the Blackman Church of Christ at 11 a.m., burial to follow in Mock's Peaceful Acres.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10 to 11am, Monday.

So sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers go out to E.Y.'s family. I had an opportunity to work with and get to know Doc some years ago. Often we were facing some sort of broadcasting emergency, and his good humor and faith always seemed to make the situation less stressful. E.Y. was a good Christian man, and I'm sure he's enjoying his reunion with Bernice.
