Jeremy Whitfield Obituary

Pfc. Jeremy James Whitfield, age 24, of Crestview, Fla., passed away Saturday afternoon, Feb. 20, 2010, while in San Angelo, Texas, due to a motorcycle accident.
Jeremy was a very fine soldier in the U.S. Army. He became a linguist and loved to speak many different languages. Aside from language, music and guitar were his passion. He loved to listen to music as well as write it, and he loved to play his guitar. He was a wonderful person with a big heart who lived life day by day to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by all; and know that you will always be in our hearts no matter how far you are.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Whitfield; daughter, Codi Whitfield; and son, Colin Whitfield. He is also survived by his parents, Pamela and Joe Whitfield; his sisters, Ashliegh Whitfield and Heidi Mclendon; and a brother, Michael Whitfield.
The visitation will be at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville, Fla., on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. for friends and family to attend.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in an account that has been set up at Bank of America in Codi Aarsunds name, Account No. 444010548150.
You may express condolences and sign the guestbook at www.heritagegardensfuneralhome.com. Heritage Gardens Funeral Home of Niceville is entrusted with the arrangements.

I went to school with Jeremy from about 6th grade on. He was a good guy. I feel so badly for his wife and chilren. I have you all in my thoughts and prayers. I cant imagine the pain youre feeling, just know that Jeremy will always be looking over you!
