His final assignment brought him to Florida, where he enjoyed a four-year tour as an instructor at Hurlburt Field in the AC-130 program.
Meanwhile, he returned to school at The University of West Florida for an Accounting degree (1977), which led to his 2nd career as a Management Analyst for the Florida Public Service Commission in Tallahassee, Florida. During his 23 years with the PSC, he was a proud member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and served as the local chapter President and member of its Board of Governors.
Other jobs that Terry enjoyed were with Bourns Electronic in Riverside, California as the assistant Director of the Electronic Engineering Analysis and as an Internal Auditor. Subsequently, he served as the State Auditor for the West Virginia Racing Commission.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother Frances I. (Coss) and his beloved stepfather, Charles G. Kramer of Springfield, Ohio; his brother, Rick Kramer and his father, Robert H. Thomas of Jupiter, Florida.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jacqueline Kramer whom he married February 11, 1961.
