David Letchinger Jr. Obituary

McHENRY – David Jeffrey Letchinger Jr., 21, of McHenry, on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, left his loving family to be with his heavenly father.
One of his loves was snowboarding; we pray he has found the perfect mountain.
He was born Feb. 6, 1991, in Park Ridge, to David Jeffrey Sr. and Joellen D. Letchinger.
David attended Johnsburg High School, where he played football and soccer. He was employed at Atlas Restorations in Buffalo Grove. He adored his son, David, and was to be wed to his sweetheart, Jackie.
David loved snowboarding and longboarding, and also enjoyed repairing, modifying and admiring cars.
He is survived by a son, David Jacob of McHenry; his parents, Joellen and David Letchinger of McHenry; a brother, Dylan Letchinger of McHenry; fiancée, Jackie Davis of McHenry; maternal grandparents, Joseph (Jane) Carpenter of Buffalo Grove; paternal grandfather, Albert Letchinger of Wheeling; eight uncles; five aunts; and 32 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sandra Letchinger; great-grandparents, Edward and Jennie Gerali; and aunt, Sharon DiTomasso.
The visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Randhill Park Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
