David Minorini Obituary

Died: November 30, 2023 in Chicago, IL
David Philip Minorini, of Crystal Lake, formerly of Lake Forest, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2023 at the age of 69.
He was born September 30, 1954 in Lake Forest, the son of the late T. Philip and Beverly (nee Sumeriski) Minorini.
Dave grew up in Lake Forest and he worked with his father in Lake Bluff for many years. He played hockey from an early age and continued his love of hockey with coaching many youth teams along with his friends.
A 1972 graduate of Lake Forest High School is where he met the love of his life, Jan Cory.
Dave was an avid boater where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends out on Lake Michigan.
Dave is survived by the love of his life, Jan; his beloved children, Cory (John) Vlahos, Jana (Jay) Boggs, and Tyler Minorini; his cherished grandchildren, Zachary and Thomas Vlahos, Ryland, Summer and Ocean Boggs; and his loving sister, Dawn (Norman) Malmberg.
Visitation will be held at the Davenport Family Funeral Home 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, Il on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:30 p.m. The service will be officiated by Dave's lifelong friend, Rev. Jim Swarthout.
