Died: January 21, 2023 in Monroe
Martha (Marti) Jo Schak (Oxley) was born on March 7,1956 and died on January 21, 2023, at her home in McHenry IL following a long illness. At her side was her husband of 46 years Harold (Harry) Schak. In addition to her husband Harry, Marti is survived by her children Melissa Kostelnik (Randy), Dan Schak (Jennifer), and Joe Schak (Kaitlyn) and grandchildren Ryan, Ansley, Brynn, Madeleine, Samantha, Tessa, and Raegan as well as her brother, Jeff Oxley (Jeane DeLaney), and sister, Claudia Oxley, and lastly by her beloved dog, Pippin. Before her retirement, Marti worked for Lake Zurich District 155 maintaining databases for the district's four high schools. Marti loved traveling with Harry in their RV and also enjoyed walking and bicycling as well as participating in the activities of her church. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 4th, at Fellowship of Faith, 6120 Mason Hill Rd, McHenry IL beginning with a reception at 9:30 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, mourners may wish to donate to 1st Way Life Center, 3714 Fairview Avenue, Johnsburg IL 60051.

So very sorry for the loss of Marti. We still miss her at District 95. She was a great person and we had a lot of fun with her. My thoughts and prayers are with the Schak family and friends of Marti.
