Paul Bialek Obituary

Paul Steven Bialek
Born: October 15, 1967 in Arlington Heights, IL
Died: July 13, 2025 in Wonder Lake, IL
Paul Steven Bialek, age 57, lost his courageous battle with cancer on 7-13-25 at his home in Wonder Lake, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thaddeus and Adeline Bialek, and a brother, Ted Bialek. He is survived by his siblings: Stephanie (David) Ewart, Barb (Kim) Kershenstein, Jeff (Cyndi) Bialek, his sister in law Pam Bialek, and his nephews and nieces: Ryan, Kevin, Lisa, Rick, Jeff, Trent, TJ, and Katy. He is also survived by his beloved cats. He felt like the luckiest person in the world when a stray cat would find him. He never got tired of reminiscing about his growing-up years & his Mom's recipes. He enjoyed NASCAR races & Blackhawk hockey games. He was dedicated to his work in construction and set high standards for himself throughout his work life. Paul loved his family and closest friends and deeply valued all of his relationships with them. Paul lived life on his own terms, and that extends to his final farewell. His wishes will be honored privately.

Yesterday

Paul was such a good neighbor to me, always willing to help out, most notably when my dad an I were installing a new air conditioner, and my dad had a medical emergency. I brought my spare house keys to Paul and asked if he could finish while I took my dad to the emergency room. Not only did he finish that, he brought over pot roast so I didn´t have to cook! I will miss him so much and will miss his cats visiting me all the time.
