Adam H. Dorsch, age 102, passed away on May 29, 2025, in Merrillville, IN.

Born on December 14, 1922, Adam was a graduate of Lowell High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army from October 20, 1942, to February 10, 1946. Following his military service, he built a long career as an industrial sales representative.

Adam was married to Elvera S. (Frank) Dorsch for 75 years until her passing in 2020. He was a former member of Saint Peter Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights, IL, and Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansing, IL.

He is remembered by his sons Thomas (Josephine) Dorsch of Seattle, WA, and Frederick (Patty) Dorsch of Saint John, IN; grandsons and their families Michael T. Dorsch (fiancée Christiane Hofer) of Vienna, Austria; Joseph R. Dorsch (Stephanie) of Crown Point, IN; Stephan J. Dorsch (Susie) of Seattle, WA; and James W. Dorsch (Terra) of Fort Gregg-Adams, VA. Adam also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren who carry forward his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elvera S. Dorsch; his parents; his brother John W. "Bill" and sister-in-law Beth Dorsch; his brother-in-law Vernon and sister-in-law Lorraine Frank; and his grandson Adam John Dorsch.

A memorial service honoring both Adam and Elvera will be held at 12:30 p.m. on August 31, 2025, in Lansing, IL, with a luncheon to follow.
