Agnes Zak Obituary

AGNES ANNA ZAK LA PORTE, IN Agnes Anna Zak, age 86 of LaPorte, formerly of Portage, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Alex) Bondor of LaPorte; sons: Rick Zak of Portage and Ron (Laura) Zak of Tampa, FL; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters: Antoinette (late William) Yasko of LaPorte and Helen (late Earl) Christman of LaPorte; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband,William; parents: Paul and Johanna Zientarski; two brothers: Leo and Stanley Zientarski; and two sisters: Jennie Dywan and Pauline Zientarski. Agnes was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church. She was a retired cook for the Portage School System with 20 years of service. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. DIRECTLY at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Road, Portage, IN with Rev. John Zemelko officiating. There will be visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Services will conclude at the church with cremation to follow. At rest, Calvary Cemetery, Portage.
