Alan Maziur Obituary

Alan Stanley Maziur, aged 66, of Crown Point, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on January 22, 2024. Born on January 19, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the cherished son of the late Stanley and Alice Maziur. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna.

A man of a magnetic personality, Alan was the epitome of kindness, care, and dedication. His life was a testament to the love and patience he bestowed upon his family. Alan's legacy is carried on by his beloved son, Alan, and daughter-in-law Jenna; his dear siblings, Doug with spouse Lisa, and Debra with spouse Rich Jenchowski; and his treasured grandchildren, Alan R., Vincent, and Joseph. He also leaves behind a host of adoring nieces and nephews.

Alan's passion for skiing and golfing was only surpassed by the joy he found in the company of his family. Alan was a graduate of Thornwood High School where he met his late wife Anna. He was a beloved coach and mentor during his family's years in South Holland, Illinois.

The Maziur family invites loved ones to join in a Memorial Mass to honor Alan's memory on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 10:00am at St. Jude Church, 241 W. 2nd Ave., New Lenox, Illinois. A luncheon will follow at Jamos Live, 10160 191st St., Mokena, Illinois.

On the golf course Al was never short on his drives, nor did he come up short with a story... or his opinion. Lucia and I won´t forget his special kindness to us.
