Uncle Alex,
Thanks for all your help with my gardening efforts, the flower bulbs and wise advice, even though "you can't eat it -- what good is it?" You will be missed, but I know you have a beautiful garden in heaven.

Poppens has lost another true friend! We will always remember him for bringing in pistachio nuts that he couldnt crack himself, for our parrot, or bringing me leftover pierogis on Saturday mornings. He even had his own chair there at the station. He was such a nice man, and we are glad to have known him. He will be missed

Uncle Alex, we will miss you and love you deeply. My heart is broken but my thoughts of you will remain with me forever. Mom and I often speak about your pickleing recipe. We use to say that was some garden patch you had in the back yard. This summer I'm going to make pickles just for you. Your niece, Nancy
