Andrew Slager Obituary

ANDREW SLAGER HEBRON, IN Andrew Slager, age 83, of Hebron, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at his home. He is survived by six children: Andrew Jr. (Karen) Slager, Richard (Cindy) Slager, David (Annette) Slager, Daniel (Michelle) Slager, Effie (Edward) Erb, and Rebecca Parmley; 19 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Slager; parents: Clarence and Gertie (Hamstra) Slager; and sister, Alida Sumara. Andrew worked for NIPSCO for 33 years, retiring in 1986. He loved camping and the outdoors and enjoyed talking to everyone. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Home, 624 N. Main St., Hebron, IN with a second visitation on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 10:30 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM DIRECTLY AT American Reformed Church, 1021 S.
