ANN KOUTROPOULOS WHITING, IN
Ann Koutropoulos age 91 of Whiting, IN passed away March 18, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband, Efthimios; six children: George (Jane), John, Andrea (the late Jim) Drakoulis, Louis, Peter (Nancy), Andrew; ten grandchildren: Tim (Jenesse), Dimitra (Dennis), Dino, Angela (Mike), Bobby, Jimmy, Denise, Taylor, Timothy and Ashley; four great grandchildren: Kenny, Logan, Dillon and Christian; two sisters: Bessie (the late Tom) Poulos, Vicky (the late Harry) Vardalos; one brother Alex (Irene) Gikas; numerous, nephews, nieces and other loving relatives. Preceded in death by two sisters: Yianoula (the late Nick) Mousteries, Georgia (the late Rev. Athansios) Ikonomou; one brother Peter; sisters in law: Kay Gikas and Sophia Gilkas. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN with a 6:00 p.m. Trisagion Service. Funeral will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 10:00 a.m. Directly at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Ann was a very loving wife, mother and grandmoither who was loved by all for her kind heart and caring ways. She was a long time member of St. Demetrios Chuch in Hammond. Thimo and Annie were the best neighbors anyone could ever ask for, and although language barriers sometimes got in the way, i hope they both knew that we loved having them as both friends and neighbors.
