Ann and I grew up together in South Holland attending the same schools, and were childhood friends. We were in Band together and she skillfully played the clarinet. Being a part of McKinley Junior High's Symphonic Band, under the direction of Adeline Anderson, was no small achievement for any member, as we were driven to perform and to be our best always. Ann later went on to become a teacher and we connected again after college when we both taught at St. Ann's Catholic School in Lansing, IL, together. She taught PE there before moving on to teach at our alma mater, Thornwood High School. We car pooled together and shared lots of stories that year. She asked me to play the flute at her wedding to Alan, which I was very honored to do. I am so glad that I was a small part of such a beautiful event, and what a lovely bride Ann was! She and Alan were truly in love. We found each other again later on Facebook and she was one of the few who enthusiastically commented and supported my Christian posts. She really loves the Lord Jesus, and loves is the right word to use here, because in Heaven, she continues to do so right now. Ann is more alive today than she ever was on Earth and her faith in Jesus as her Savior and her Lord has truly made her whole and well... After attending her Memorial Service, I want to express just how wonderful that was and how graciously her husband Alan, son Alan, family, friends and Pastor commemorated Ann's unique life. You all paid her great and memorable tributes! Ann's eternal life begins now, but her legacy on Earth with those she left behind, will never end. I look forward to seeing her in Heaven when my time comes one day myself. Until then, we all must hold fast to the hope of the Resurrection of Jesus, accept Him as our Savior and Lord, Repent of our sins and remember that Jesus never breaks His promises. Trust Him completely and always as Ann did, and continues to do eternally. God bless and keep you close to Him Ann, along with all those you care for and love. I love you dear friend and thank you for your sweet and humble ways, your great supportive and strong faith, and your kindness to me...Rest in His Love and His Peace sweetheart. Love always, Your friend and sister in Christ, Cathy

I've known Ann for a short time, but she touched my heart in a special way; her willingness to volunteer and be there to help our organization, BUNS Care, is beyond reproach.
Ann you will be missed.
