ARLENE FAYE HAMSTRA DEMOTTE, IN
Arlene Faye Hamstra age 77, of DeMotte, IN passed away on Monday January 7, 2013. She was born in South Holland, IL on August 31, 1935 to Ralph and Josie (VerKaik) Bultema, both deceased. On September 3, 1952 in DeMotte, IN she married George W. Hamstra who passed away April 28, 2001. She was a homemaker and member of The First Reformed Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher also involved in Morrell Circle and Willing Workers. Arlene is survived by her loving children: William L. (Sally) Hamstra, of DeMotte, David (Robin) Hamstra, of DeMotte, Daniel Hamstra of Wheatfield and Kevin (Karen) Hamstra, DeMotte; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, George W. Hamstra; granddaughter, Angela Hamstra; two brothers; and five sisters. Friends may call on Thursday January 10, 2013 from 2:00-8:00 PM at Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte, IN. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM on Friday January 11, 2013 at The First Reformed Church, DeMotte, IN with Pastor Roger Huitink officiating. Interment at Holland Cemetery, DeMotte, IN. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village, DeMotte, IN. Also see www.jacksonfuneral.com

Our sincere sympathy to the whole family. Arlene was a very devoted mother who was proud of all of you. We are in Florida and cannot attend the funeral but we will be keep the family in our thoughts and prayers.
