I was saddened to learn about Bernie. We grew up together, as well as our mothers. Bernadine was such an inspiration to all of us. I've often thought of her and her family as the years sped by. Bernie's family has my deepest sympathy and they are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My wife, Vicki and I extend our sincere sympathies to Bernie's family. I haven't seen Bernie for many years but I have pleasant memories of our youthful, fun times long ago in East Chicago. A fond farewell Bernie, I will always remember and miss you.

No words could ever express how sorry I am to hear of Bernie's passing. My heart sincerely goes out to her family, especially to Danny, Missy, and Angie. I have so many wonderful memories of her and will always keep them very close. She saw my sister & I grow from babies to adults. And I saw her as an angel that was invinsible. She was so honest, caring, kind and more forgiving than most of us could ever be. She was like a second mother to me. She and Danny took me in out of high school to help me through my "what do I want to be when I grow up" phase. I can't even tell you all the lessons I learned from the both of them.
Here's to you Bernie....Here's to the Dallas Cowboys, Spades, Margaritaville, Jeopardy, Coors Light, the Polka, and Englebert Humperdink! I will miss you terribly! I love you forever!
