Bert Ooms Obituary

Bert "Corey" Ooms Hobart Bert "Corey" Ooms, age 52 of Hobart, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at his residence. Corey was a lifelong area resident and was employed with Steel Technologies in Porter. He will be remembered by his family as a wonderful son, brother and uncle. Corey is survived by his mother, Fermina Ooms of Hobart; brothers: Alan (Roseanne) Ooms and Brian Ooms, both of Hobart; sisters: Bonnie Fay and Diann (Ralph) Wilson, both of Hobart; nieces and nephews: Becky Ooms, Jeffrey Ooms, Holly Ooms and Brian Wilson. Preceded in death by his father, Bert Ooms. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Funeral services will be private for the family. Cremation will occur at Calvary Cemetery and Crematory, Portage. Visiting hours will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2004 at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart.

My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you, especially Bonnie. We go back to probably first grade with our Little Kiddles. This must be difficult... as mad as we might get at our big brothers it's hard to imagine life without them. I'll keep you in my prayers. God Bless.
