Dearest Fran,
I am shocked to hear of Bruce's death. Losing a child is something a parent doesn't want or expect. In situations like this I share a tapestry example: Our lives on this earth is like looking at the back of a tapestry. It makes no sense and we ask "why" are all those bumps for; "why" are all those loose ends over in this corner? When we reach our eternal home we are looking at the front of the tapestry (our earthly lives) and we see a beautiful picture. We finally get answers to all of our earthly "whys". I hope this gives you some comfort. I know our loving Lord is wrapping his arms around you during this difficult time and all the time. You have my deepest sympathy.
Your "buddy",
Ann
