Christine Roach, née Kolodziej, age 63, passed away on July 31, 2025, in Munster, Indiana. Born on February 28, 1962, in Harvey, Illinois, she brought warmth and creativity into the world from the very beginning.
Christine was the beloved daughter of Fred and Barbara Kolodziej. She grew up alongside her brother Phil (Samantha) Kolodziej, and sister Cathy (Tom) Fountas, forming bonds that remained strong throughout her life. Her vibrant spirit and loving nature were constants in the lives of those who knew her, including many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Robert Stephen Roach. Together they built a life filled with love and family. Christine was a proud and caring mother to her daughters Kayla (Christopher) Borrowdale and Chelsea (Nick) Brown. Preceded in death by her loving son, Robert Roach Jr, who she deeply missed.
Christine had a passion for life's simple pleasures. She found joy in gardening-tending to flowers and plants with care-and cherished moments spent relaxing in the sunshine. A creative soul, she enjoyed crafting, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. These hobbies reflected her free spirit and creative nature.
Those who knew Christine remember her as strong yet gentle-a woman whose presence brought comfort and inspiration. Her sense of humor filled the room with laughter and smiles. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were touched by her kindness.
May her memory bring peace to those who loved her. A Service will be held on August 7, 2025, from 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Burns Kish Funeral Home 8415 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN.

To Chris´ family - I´m so sorry for your loss. I knew your mom back in high school, we were in Club together. I always remember how nice she was to everyone and how she was always smiling. This is one of the first Club pics we were both in.
