It´s been 13 years and I often think about you, my brother. We had some good times, Man, they were good times. we shared our thoughts about life Like we were brothers. Many times we would hit the.VFW and have a few; maybe more than a few. We enjoyed watching the White Sox at the stadium or on TV. I don´t know why, but you´re passing seems like a while. You will always stay in my mind and heart. Missing my friend and brother. God keep you.

My dear friend . Just sitting on my deck thinking of the past and you came to mind. We shared plenty of good memories and fun which I will never forget. We had a bond since Franklin school which carried on to our adulthood. Well ,Dan God bless and keep you. Love you like a brother.

I lived up the alley from Danny. Lots of fun memories playing in the vacant lot behind his house. Building forts in trees, having pretent battles. He always made us laugh!! I was so sorry to hear that he is gone! My best to Danny's Family.

Dear "Ursta" Family,
I'm a distant cousin from New Jersey (related to Helen (Petak)/Lengyel, James/Durda, Charles. I want to express my deepest sympathies to your family. It is always so hard when someone passes, but knowing he is in heaven with his Mom and Dad, helps brings peace! My prayers go out to your family!

It was 46 years ago this summer, Danny was my catcher and I was pitching at East Glen Park Little League. The umpire was not calling many strikes that day so Danny decided he was going to help the umpire see better. Danny calls time out walks into our dugout and takes the eyeglasses off the face of one of our players. He then walks back behind home plate and without saying a word hands the umpire the eyeglasses. The umpire immediately ejects Danny from the game and I'm laughing so hard I can't throw another pitch. True story. Thanks Danny for all the great memories.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Ursta family.
I'll never forget the great times I had with Dan and hanging at Mary's truck stop on Broadway and all the great memories that I'll always have. Danny boy you will never beforgotten.

Rosie,Jimmy,Johnny and families,
Some of my favorite memories include our family vacations to visit our Indiana cousins. Although distance kept us apart as we grew up, I always felt the bond as family kept us close. I will miss reminiscing with Danny, laughing and hearing his cheerful voice. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May he rest in peace with our wonderful Moms and Dads.

The Ursta Family, Danny was always like a big brother to me, a little over protective at times, but I loved him for it. We will always keep him in our thoughts and prayers. Rosie,Jimmy,Johnny and Family....You all know how much Danny meant to us. We shared so many good times from the Days of living across the street on Virginia St.Our hearts are heavy and our tears won't seem to quit,but our memories spent with your brother will live on in us forever. Big Dan was part of our coffee club every morning at the Quick Mart in Portage. Many lively discussions took place while we tried to solve the worlds problems. He will be missed by his buddies Sam, Chuck and Al. Rest in Peace Dan.
