David Borowski Obituary

DAVID S. BOROWSKI HEGEWISCH, IL
David S. Borowski, age 89 of Hegewisch, passed away very peacefully on January 25, 2014. David was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps stationed in Guam. He was retired from Combustion Engineering of East Chicago, IN. David was a avid golfer, musician, reader, carpenter, and knowledge seeker. David loved life and was devoted to family and friends. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Emma M. Borowski (nee Skiba). Survived by his cherished children: Susan (Rick) Reb, Diane (Bud) Kompier, Gerald Borowski; dearest grandfather of Benjamin, Alison, Emily; and great grandfather of Charlie and Jack. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch (773-646-1666). David will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
