The many social events your parents hosted and included us in gave us the opportunity to meet and know the three of you. We share our sympathy with you in the loss of your father. As we who taught with him have many good memories, I feel certain all of you have many wonderful memories of both of your parents. Take care and please let us know when a memorial will be held.
With our love.

My deepest sympathy to the Maicher family as you grieve the loss of your dear dad and grandfather. I have so many fond memories of our many years of teaching with your parents at Hammond Morton High School. Your parents always enjoyed hosting faculty parties that always included your mom's famous tacos. He was so proud of this beautiful family and loved all of you so much. May all the wonderful memories comfort you during this difficult time. Please let me know when you have the celebration of life. Sending love and support to all of you.

My deepest condolences. Mr. Maicher was a great coach, teacher and and later a co-worker. I could see him now chasing down caddies in WCC security cart.

To the Maicher Family:
Please accept my sincerest sympathies. As Christians, we take comfort and find solace knowing our loved one is now at peace in God's love. Somewhere far beyond the stars, Don now enjoys his Heavenly banquet prepared from the harvest of his life. We were classmates at Whiting High School (Class of 1958) and lifelong friends. May God grant you an abundance of His Grace, Mercy, Peace and Love.
