Unfortunately I didn't know Donald that well since there are so many cousins from my mom's family! But I will always remember Donald cooking my hamburger at the summer reunion. Now everytime that I eat a burger cooked on a grill I will think of Don.

I had not seen Don for years, but I, too, will always remember his smile and wonderful personality. I met him (thru Pete Stahura) in his P.J.'s days, and my favorite memory of Don is of him singing "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" by Otis Redding (Retting?), he always did such a great job crooning that old tune. He was truly loved by all who met him, and his passing at this young age is such a tragedy. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this impossibly difficult time.

Words cannot describe the sadness I felt when I heard the horrible news. I knew Don back when he was a DJ at R-Way. He had such an aura about him, and just seemed to draw people to him effortlessly. And what about that smile! It's been years since I last saw Don, but I never forgot him-or ever will. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends-he touched so many people and will be missed.

Don was a student in my fourth grade class at Nativity School. I remember his great smile too. He was a good student and loved playing "baseball" , a review game before tests in class.
My deepest sympathy to his wife and family on the loss of such a young wonderful man.

Once again, I offer my heartfelt condolences to Don's entire family.
May you find comfort in the knowledge that Don is in the presene of the Lord just as the Lord is with you now.
To Kathy....I know, Iknow.....and I am so speechless. Always know that love continues to grow even when death robs of us our children. That a part of us has died with them is an understatement. The Lord bless and keep you......and He promises that we will see our loved ones again.
To Mike and Joe, it was good to see you again and I have so many fond memories of you boys when you were children. The loss of a brother is traumatic....but know that he is watching over you and will remain so in your hearts. Peace to you.

Memories are those things that are God given for these times of sorrow. They give us the strength to go on, when the loss of a loved one is so heavy on our hearts. Remembering him and his smile is one of those memories which cannot be erased from my thoughts of a wonderful young man. I enjoyed his company and I feel privilaged to say I knew him. Him and his friends met at Nativity and ironically also said their good-byes in the same place. He will never be forgotten as long as I have a breath in my body. After knowing Don for over 20 years and babysitting for him since Megan was 3 months old, this has been a very difficult week for me. Don was a remarkable man and touched the lives of many people. I am another one of the many of Donald's cousins. My earliest memory of Don is as a little chubbie cheeked boy with a huge smile and dimples, Years later that is still what I remember most! I had no idea that Donald was such a well known person until today! I hope to have known 1/4 the amount of people I saw today at Donalds funeral. There must not be a person on earth that met Donald that didn't like him. We will have the next family reunion in his honor, that is what he would have wanted!! My kids remember him cooking there burgers in the summer. I am so glad we had the reunion this summer that Donald planned so well!! This is just another example of why life is unfair!

What can I say about Donnie? He was my newphew and friend. He always making sure that I was at a gettogether, party, or card game. He made you feel important and welcome anytime. I will never forget when he told me I was his favorite aunt when we danced at his and Jennifer's wedding. I will always have a place in my heart for Jennifer, Brianne, Alyssa, and Megan.

To Woz's family- my deepest condolences to you and may you find peace in the fact that Don was truly liked and loved by many. Many people are loved but few people are genuinely liked and it is a testiment to Woz by the many people at his service- that he was truely liked! He will be missed. I know that I will remember Don's generosity, kindness, fun loving spirit but most of all, his great smile. Heaven has just received a great addition to its choir of angels.

I am just one of many cousins that will miss Don. He always wanted family togetherness, and created our great summer reunions. He always made everyone feel welcome and liked, as was shown by all his friendships. He had many, many more friends than relatives that were close to him.
My prayers and thoughts are with Jen, the kids, and his family and friends. Our "Megan's" are the same age, and I share your loss. Know that many many people share this sorrow with you, and are here for you when you need a shoulder.

I have been in shock for the past four days since hearing of this tragedy. I still can't believe that Don's gone, but I guess it just proves that only the good die young. Don was one of my favorite cousins and I truly regret not ever telling him. With his big smile and contagious laugh, he made you feel so welcome. Don brought karaoke to our Pepe's many, many years ago. I don't think I will ever be able to sing Love Shack with anyone else!!! He was the best! Don "Woz" as I new him best was a dynamic person and will be truly missed here on earth. We were friends in high school and although we haven't stayed in constant touch it was always nice to bump into him. I hope to again bump into him one day in heaven. I have not seen or talked to "Woz" in many years, however the memories that have come back after hearing of this tragedy are wonderful. Don was a great person and friend for all of the years that I knew him. This has made me realize that even though you stick with certain friends for years and years you may lose contact with some that were very dear to you. Even though they are not part of your daily life they will always have an impact on you. Don will be missed in my heart because of the friendship that we shared through church youth group, high school, ski club, sports, and just an everyday friend. To his wife, children and family, I am extremely sorry for your loss. You are in my daily thoughts and prayers.
