Fred was a very good man, he was my first Insurance Agent, I grew to trust and love him. We grew from a head full black hair to grey hair. I will always miss him. May God continue to watch over his family

Fred was my agent for over 30 years. My wife and I have been in California for over 10 years now. Fred continued to send birthday cards and always enclosed a stick of gum. Fred and I last spoke about mid-2010. He talked about traveling and I thought perhaps he would stop by for lunch. It was a pleasant phone conversation, lasting about 30 minutes. I had no idea that he was not well. Like his other clients, I trusted Fred and always appreciated his advice and direction. The service was outstanding and, as mentioned by others, he was a professional and a gentleman. My son has been a client since he was old enough to drive. I would often refer friends and business associates to Fred. Fred was simply the best.

I am truly saddened to hear of Mr Marshall's passing. He has been my agent since I moved to Indiana in 1988. He was always kind and patient with me and my concerns. Mr. Marshall was a true gentleman. I remember when I was married in 95 my husbands say you can use my agent now and I said no you can use mine, Fred Marshall is the best and he said yes he is that is who I have we both laugh about that. God Bless is entire family and friends.

Fred Marshall was my State Farm agent for over 39 years. He has been a valuable source for my financial affairs in the past years. He also helped my children and granddaughter. I grew to love and respect Fred. He left a great void in life. The last time I transacted business with him, he spoke so fondly of his grandchildren. I will always keep him in heart. His shoes will be hard to fill. I will miss him.

To The Marshall Family,
Fred and I started with State Farm on the same day and were partners for 3 years in Gary, Indiana. It seems like only yesterday that we were toiling in the converted garage on West Ridge Road. Fred was the perfect to partner ; honest , hard working and easy to get along with.

Fred Marshall is the finest insurance agent I have ever known. We have been loyal customers for over 30+ years and have always been treated professionally and with great care. We will miss the birthday cards and stick of gum which were Fred's trademarks. RIP

I met Fred 25 years ago when I was quite young and needing to buy insurance. Fred treated me with so much respect, he helped me feel like an adult. Every time I called his office and he'd answer the phone, and I'd say hi Fred it's Lisa, he knew which Lisa I was. Although he was my insurance guy, I feel like I lost a family member. He truly was awesome. My condolences to his immediate family and his State Farm family.

I first met Fred when I was in claims. When I became an agent, I had the pleasure of being in the Robinson District with him. He was always a mild mannered gentleman. State Farm's brand will be deminished by his passing.

And Dylan and Caden were his world. I am truly going to miss our Monday morning converstations of what fun things we did over the weekend. He was not only a boss but part of my family.
