HELEN H. GRIEGER FORMERLY OF VALPARAISO, IN Helen H. Grieger, age 92, of Charleston House in Beaver Dam, WI, formerly of Valparaiso, died on Friday, October 10, 2008. She was born on June 10, 1916 in Pulaski County, IN to Louis F. and Martha H. (Fritz) Warren. She married Elmer G. Grieger on September 21, 1935 in Crown Point, IN. Her husband's employment took her to Mason City, IA, Madison and Green Bay, WI before they retired to Fairview Farm, Wanatah, IN in 1971. They returned to Wisconsin in 1996. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce (Ron) Abegglen of Fall River, WI; a son, James (Gladys) Grieger of Waunakee, WI; three granddaughters: Jennifer Hoffman of Plover, WI, Sarah Lowe (Jerry Figi) of Monroe, WI and Katherine Steinbach of Lodi, WI; three great grandchildren: Keith Hoffman, Bradley and Courtney Steinbach; a special niece, Susan (Keith) Benson of North Judson, IN; a nephew, Ronald (Irene) Lenz of Renton, WA; other special relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, on December 7, 1996; her parents; her sister and her husband, Mildred and Frank Shortz; her sister-in-law Melba Lenz McGinley and her husbands, Andrew Lenz and Robert McGinley; nephews: Arlen Lenz and John Shortz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Moeller Funeral Home in Valparaiso, IN, with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M.
